  1. bug id #1235 - Fixed a problem where you cannot browse a folder with Japanese characters which in turn would cause a polling error.

  1. bug id #1246 - Fixed a problem where the Job Genie would change in tab 3 after a save.

  1. bug id #1236 - Fixed a problem where the RIP Monitor would display jobs from one RIP in another RIP list if that RIP failed to load.

  1. bug id #1297 - Fixed a problem with the Roland SC/SJ540 and 745 where it failed to print. Needed to add support for the new Eco Solvent inks.

  1. bug id #721 - Fixed the SpinJet driver to backup properly. Problem caused by newer firmware in the SpinJet.

  1. bug id #1318 - Fixed a problem where the Windows Installed printer would report Failed to Print even though the job printed OK.

  1. bug id #1281 - Fixed a problem where version 4 ICC profiles would render but output is bad. Version 4 profiles are not supported yet so we now fail the job and report a message when a version 4 ICC is detected in the ICC directories.

  1. bug id #1321,1332,1355 - Fixed various Scitex Brisque Impose problems.

  1. bug id #1324 - Fixed a problem where the Thumbnail tooltip would report idle even if a job was processing through. This occurred if there was a failed job in the queue.

  1. bug id #1320 - Fixed a problem where the ‘user’ directory LUT’s would not be created if it did not exist.

  1. bug id #1316 - Fixed a problem where transparency was not working correctly for PDF files.

  1. bug id #1337 - Fixed a crash caused by an ICC profile.

  1. bug id #1253 - Fixed a problem where closing the monitor as the last window by clicking on the X to close it instead of “quit” from the menu would not save the layout. Now it does.

  1. bug id #1341 - Fixed a problem where the paper colour would compound if reselected. Only happened if paper colour was CMYK.

  1. bug id #1345 - Fixed a problem where Ghostscript could spin out consuming CPU and memory.

  1. bug id #1258 - Fixed a problem where sometimes the contextual menus (right click) would not appear.

  1. bug id #1342 - Fixed a problem with the monitor where giving a tab a name with the inches (“) symbol would cause an error next time the monitor is called.

  1. bug id #1314 - Fixed a problem where sending to an Agfa Sherpa (Dye Based Epson 9600) would print slowly. This was due to a default dry time between passes set on the machine. We now set this explicitly to 0s.

  1. bug id #1358 - Fixed a problem where the Special Colour Set and Replace Colour Set did not support output RGB profiles for displaying the patches.

  1. bug id #1368 - Fixed Shift Tab to move backwards in the Paper Profiler and Lineariser when entering text values.

  1. bug id #1371 - Fixed a problem with rendering on the slave and the logo box.

  1. bug id #1379 - Fixed a problem where “Print to all” option on Pagesetup Pools would hang the server.

  1. bug id #1387 - Fixed a small problem where the archiver on Mac OS X could not select and open an archive without a .sdb extension.

  1. bug id #1361 - Fixed a Dynastrip import problem where pages were displayed incorrectly.

  1. bug id #1391 - Fixed a problem where submit button did not work for the chinese language. This was for any button where the short cut had been removed in translation.

New Features/Enhancements

  1. bug id #1042 - Added more options to print items from the database. This is accessible from the context menu.

  1. bug id #1239 - Improved polling times and job accessibility times.

  1. bug id #1270 - Improved support for Copydot files.

  1. bug id #1269 - Improved nesting time. Now when a job has finished rendering for a nest the nesting status is checked immediately to see if any of the criteria meets the requirement and if so nesting starts straight away.

  1. bug id #1268 - Added rotate option to the CIP3 Export.

  1. bug id #840 - Improved the way hot keys work in the Monitor Modules.

  1. bug id #1244 - Improved the reporting on failing to match colours for PS/PDF jobs. Now all colours in the job that are not matched in the library are reported on one imaging parse.

  1. bug id #1259 - Change font size on a Queue Status now changes all Queue Status within that window. i.e. it is applied to the whole window.

  1. bug id #1274 - Changed server connect “search” button to read “refresh” as this is more accurate description.

  1. bug id #1265 - Changed server log messages to improve filtering of error messages. Other messages that were not errors were being filtered as an error.

  1. bug id #1291 - Added support for USB printing and USB instruments on Windows and Linux.

  1. bug id #1213 - Enhanced the Signature Group to allow mixed page sizes on the same signature. This allows for different jobs on the same signature to be de-imposed. Pages can be placed as desired.

  1. bug id #1295 - De-imposed, tiling and colour keys jobs are now given priority in the rendering queue on slaves. Previously they were placed to the bottom of the queue. Now they are placed above normal rendering jobs.

  1. bug id #1306 - Added option to ignore modification time when autoproofing. This helps with Harlequin jobs being moved between held and active queues.

  1. bug id #1296 - Added support for the new Xrite DTP94 Optix monitor spectrophotometer. This is for use with the new Monitor Calibrator tool.

  1. bug id #1238 - Added a rendered thumbnail option.

  1. bug id #182 - Changed nesting to rotate jobs at nesting time to better fit the page size specified.

  1. bug id #1279 - Added a FlipBook application for more convenient way of viewing publications. This is mainly used in conjunction with de-impose to produce a virtual book. This can then be exported as a PDF or Quicktime movie.

  1. bug id #1219 - Enabled the SoftProof to remember the last selected paper colour each time a new job is viewed. To revert it you must explicitly set none.

  1. bug id #633 - Added support to Virtual Press to all it to merge imposed jobs.

  1. bug id #1338 - Queue Manager now remembers the column sorts order when they are launched.

  1. bug id #1339 - Added a cropping feature to the SoftProof so that a copped image can be resubmitted.

  1. bug id #1356 - Copy and Move to Pagesetup now honors the nesting state.

  1. bug id #1356pt2 - Changed behavior of jobs that cause crashes. Instead of removing them they are now marked as failed so you can see which ones caused the crash.

  1. bug id #1354 - The border colour can now be selected. This is available by editing the effect.

  1. bug id #1360 - Added search box on the channel viewer of the SoftProof.

  1. bug id #1340 - Default Queue Manager view is now saved. However your toolbar and columns are configured they are used for the next new Queue Manager called.

  1. bug id #1363 - Added new driver for the HP4000 -Printers Screening which allows you to set it to run at 300dpi in CAD mode. Super fast.

  1. bug id #1372 - Added “Always Overwrite” and “Always use existing” options to the import dialogue for importing colours with the same name.

  1. bug id #1252 - Added a Virtual Loupe tool to the SoftProof Application. This displays the job at 100% where ever the loupe is positioned. Two sizes of loupe are available through the contextual menu.

  1. bug id #1367 - Added page traverse tool to the SoftProof Application to move between pages of a publication.

  1. bug id #1313 - Added the ability to download the Megarip.ppd from the server. This is an option at the bottom of the Application menu. Saves the need to have the CD.

  1. bug id #1167 - Added the ability to move plates around in the SoftProof Application using the channel viewer. Once ordered the job can be resubmitted retaining the order.

  1. bug id #1374 - Filter/Search box now added to Chooser windows in the Workbench. e.g. when selecting an output from the Pagesetup you can enter a search string.

  1. bug id #982 - Changed the behaviour of modules in the workbench so that when they are hidden they remain hidden after a client restart. e.g. hiding sections/modules in Pagesetup by clicking on the x in the corner keeps then hidden.

  1. bug id #1092 - Added an option to hold after imaging for individual files when they are submitted. This is a selectable option in the submit windows. After Imaging the file status changes to (held) rendering.

  1. bug id # 1388 - Added a publication name for nested jobs to make it easier to identify which pages make up a nest. Turn on publication column in the Queue Manager and the name of the last nest displays for each page that made up that nest.

  1. bug id #1385 - Submit dialogues have a search/filter field to find Pagesetups easier.

  1. bug id #1353 - Added support for the Canon 8400

  1. bug id 1377 - Added a TWAIN Acquire function to the SoftProof to allow scanning direct into the SoftProof. This can then be submitted for processing.

  1. bug id #1389 - Added check for dot gain curves applied to Swatch colours when importing colours with the same name. We now display if there is a dot gain curve applied where previously we just indicated they differed.

  1. bug id #1373 - We now remember the items being edited when changing between data types in the Workbench. The last one selected is automatically displayed next time you return to say Pagesetups.
