Serendipity Software announces BlackMagic version 2.4

Serendipity Software Pty Ltd, the leader in digital proofing software for the pre-press and packaging industry, today announced BlackMagic version 2.4, a major upgrade to the world's leading professional digital proofing software. BlackMagic 2.4 delivers an impressive array of new features which further enhance the performance, user friendliness and colour accuracy of the product.

"When designing version 2.4, increased productivity and ease of use are the areas we have spent a significant amount of time addressing. These two areas are very important to our customers as they produce a large number of proofs each day, often with a short amount of time available to them" said Peter Skarpetis, President & Ceo of Serendipity Software Pty Ltd.

New features in BlackMagic 2.4 include

  • Black text stays black when using ICC profiles
  • Paper background simulation
  • Dotgain simulation for packaging industry
  • Full support of the FUJI Celebra Worflow product
  • Printer pooling
  • Import of special colours from other products
  • Support for the Canon BJC-8500 and HP-5000 printers
