Archiver

The server stores all the settings in a database. Even though each setting is an individual file, the procedure of extracting and restoring settings into the database was confusing our users.

The Archiver was writen to make backups similar to using a conventional file manager. The user can selectively backup individual settings or their entire database. The selected settings are then written out to archive files. These can be emailed to other sites to replicate a working configuration.

The Archiver can also be used to schedule automatic periodic backups so your data is always protected.

Settings from the archive can be restored either selectively or all at once.
