Dot gain reversal curves

The imagesetter or platesetter RIPs normally apply dot gain correction when they rasterise. With the dot gain reversal curves, this effect can be removed for more accurate colour management.

You can choose a curve for the process colours and a curve for all the spot/special colours. As these curves are applied on the input stage, they are RIP specific but proofer independent.

This feature can also be used to simulate dot gain that is encountered in flexo printing. Since there are separate curves for process and specials, the flexographic process can be simulated quite accurately.
