Progressive proofs
Serendipity Blackmagic has the ability to automatically generate progressive proofs from an unlimited number of input plates. Use the colourkey combo editor to define which sequence of plates you would like printed, attach it to a pagesetup and within minutes you have a complete set of progressive proofs. You can even nest them up on one large page so save on paper.
For example you could have Serendipity Blackmagic automatically produce a set of progressive proofs containing the following plate combinations:
- Black
- Black + Cyan
- Black + Cyan + Magenta
- Black + Cyan + Magenta + Yellow
- Black + Cyan + Magenta + Yellow + Pantone 238
The possible combinations are only limited by your imagination. This feature is great for markets where a single colour press is used to print 4 or more colour jobs and can be used for checking the progress of the printing as different coloured plates are loaded into the press.
