This industry prints with multiple separations, in some cases up to 12 colours can be contained in one job.
Furthermore, each separation is generally a special colour and printed in scaled strengths.
For example a blue special may be printed as 60% strength of a PMS 280
- Proofing from un-screened RIPs ie: CT/LW formats, Postscript/PDF
- When using SuperCell halftone screening, multiple screening frequencies can be produced onto inkjet or CT based proofing devices
- Any separation can be defined with it's own colour, screen ruling, dot shape, and screen angle
