ICC profile support
Our colour management engine is fully compliant with the latest ICC version 4 specification as published by the International Color Consortium
ICC profile intents supported:
- perceptual
- absolute colourimetric
This intent emulates the target media background colour as well
- relative colourimetric
- saturation
ICC profile types supported:
- CMYK
- CMYK +orange +green
- RGB, for RGB output devices
- Device link profiles
- Multi colour (N-colour) profiles
We also support retaining of the black channel for text. This ensures that black text is printed with black ink only and not converted to three colour, giving much crisper rendition of the text itself.
