Description |
Some minor fixes in the JobGenie editor for spelling errors and general view. Clearing of fields when de-selected. This is correct operation. |
Fixed a problem with variable dot sized printers when outputing through a nested queue. The first page would output fine but subsequent pages would only use a single dot size. |
Fixed a problem where descreening would miss a vertical line at the hard right edge of the image. |
Fixed a problem with importing swatches from VectorPro. Names had a tab character at the beginning. |
Fixed a problem in the PCC input filter where a CT vignette was not showing. This was a special colour and was being masked out by the LW. |
Fixed a problem with the JobGenie editor where certain items always appeared as though they needed saving. |
Fixed a problem where the Blackmagic Server would crash when polling a Celebrant. Most likely to happen with Celebrant's that had been upgraded to 4.1. |
Fixed a problem where stripe paths did not work in the TIFF based input filter. |
Fixed a problem in the Celebrant input filter where jobs would not be proofed properly from WorkFlow Server if RIPProof was enabled. This caused incorrect orientation of some of the pages. |
New Features / Enhancements
Description |
Changed the Agent timeout from 5 to 10 minutes. This is the time the Server waiting before deciding there is a problem with the Agent. This was done for a particularly slow Unix system, as the Agent was timing out before reporting all of the jobs. |
Halftone and Stochastic screening modes now take advantage of variable dot sizes if the printer supports it and is in the variable dot mode. |
Added Stochastic II to resolve a screening artefact with a particular job. This is an enhancement to Stochastic. It is available under the screening menu in the Control Panel. |
Added support for Opaltone swatches to be imported. |
Added support for Illustrator 9 swatch imports. |
Made JobGenie editor available only under "Administrator" mode. Previously it was also available under Restricted Access mode. |
Added support for Celebrant v4.2 |
Add a new printer driver for the Epson 10000. |
Made improvements to the Epson 7500/9500 driver for ink density control. This applies built-in LUTs as the last part of colour management. This only applies to the official paper that is named in the interface under the customise area. If any of these paper types are selected, the LUTs will be applied. These LUTs have been calculated from internal testing. There is the ability to select "Third Party/Unknown Paper" type. This reverts to the user configurable ink density settings as before. Note: If you are selecting the paper types from the list, you will have to re-calibrate. If you have been using the "user configurable" ink settings, you should select the Third Party Paper option and it should operate as it did in the previous version. |
Added support for CMYK type files to the Panther RIP. These are generated when we use the in RIP separation feature. |
Added a feature in the RIPMonitor to go to VirtualPress if a job is submitted with unassigned colours. |
