We have added a couple of new paper types in the media selector list for the Epson 10000. These are Dye based Epson media and changes the printer settings slightly e.g. Vacuum and head adjustments.
There is a new option in the customise section under the paper size to allow the largest sheet size to be imaged on the HP 10 and 20ps printers. The setting is "Automatic" which allows the printer to determine the size of the job from the sheet size that is inserted.
We have added the ability to do a 1,2 or 3 pass black on the Roland FJ-500 driver. This option is available in the customise section of the printer and shown as the overprint amount. This can be used to enhance the density of the black which is useful for the screen print industry when imaging onto clear film media.
We have added two new drivers for the Lineariser Application. The first is for the EyeOne in Spot mode. This was previously only for strip reading but now you can measure patches separately if you wish.
The second is for the Spectroscan which will allow you to position the lineariser chart in any position in the readable area of the scan table. You then simply follow the instructions displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the lineariser tool. You just have to give us the co-ordinates of three corners and it will start to measure.
This is a new option that will replace each of the process plates with Black only but retain the angles. This is for the screen printing industry and allows them to image a job to a clear film media instead of going to an imagesetter. Because of the low lpi required this can be done quite happily at 720 dpi with a halftone dot. Just choose the option and your halftone dots, angles and screen ruling and it will separate and image a job just as an imagesetter would. Small jobs can then be nested.
