The following system requirements apply to the current versions of all Serendipity Software proofing solutions.

Important Note: Version 8.0 and above products are only available in 64-bit.

 

Existing installations:

If you are upgrading operating systems, we recommend you confirm the OS is supported for your version of the software before upgrading.

Dongle:

macOS 10.15 Catalina and above require a Serendipity Driverless USB Dongle for the software to function. Legacy Sentinel SuperPro USB dongles are only compatible with macOS 10.14 and below.

Dongle:

Legacy Sentinel SuperPro USB dongles are only compatible with CentOS. All other Linux platforms require a Serendipity Driverless USB Dongle for the software to function.

Note 1: The above hardware recommendations are a minimum to achieve performance levels described in our literature.

Note 2: Serendipity brand software may be installed on a system used by other installed software. This negates the need to purchase an additional computer for Serendipity Blackmagic, Megarip or Veripress. Under such installations additional memory and CPU are recommended to avoid performance degradation.
